Hi, a bit of both really. Large trials are amazing at answering huge population questions so the science can be really exciting. But my absolute favourite is the contact with people. I loved my school sleep study as I got to work across ten schools and all the year 10 pupils so 1500 students. I then got to work with 20 kids per school to evaluate their sleep using special trackers. It was great to meet these students and get to know them and what they think is important about sleep.
Even though I am a researcher now I do try and keep up with more clinical work as I find it so rewarding helping the individual improve their sleep. Sleep influences our lives so much its great to be able to make such a difference!
