  Unfortunately, I think it is unlikely: plants can photosynthesis but at the moment animals can’t. It isn’t too far-fetched to imagine that it would be possible to use genetic engineering to put the ability to photosynthesis into animal cells but the amount of energy that could be gained from photosynthesis wouldn’t be enough for us to do all the things we do…. think how much more active a human is than a tree (and how slowly a tree grows compared to a human!), so we would need to have food as well even if it was possible to make humans green!
