• Question: Does homework alter learning in a bad way

      Homework is good for revision and cementing what your teachers have been teaching you. So in that way it is good for learning.

      However, if you have so much homework that you have to stay up late to complete it and dont get enough sleep (8-10hrs) then there is a problem. We need sleep to be able to store everything we have learnt to memory. Not sleeping enough impacts our memory and our attention the next day. Its a viscous circle!
