      I did medical biochemistry at the University of Surrey. My favourite class was either biological rhythms (sleep of course!!) or practical physiology labs as we could run small physiology experiments on each other!

      My favourite class at University was Epidemiology (the study of population health and disease). The thing I love about it is that it can help us understand all kinds of things – from the development of vaccines right through to what would happen in a zombie apocolypse! I am really lucky as I get to teach Epidemiology today – 20 years later!
