Hi!
A night owl is the phrase we use to describe somebody who prefers to be awake later in the evening and then wake up late in the morning. We use this phrase because owls tend to hunt during the late evening and night time and then sleep during the morning.
Other people (called early birds, I think) prefer to wake up early in the morning and then go to bed earlier at night time.
What sort of a person are you? I definitely prefer to be up late and wake up later like a night owl.

Did you know that owls’ ears are not level with each other? This is because it allows them to be more accurate in working out exactly where a sound is coming from…. the reason is quite complicated but is to do with how long it takes sound to reach one ear compared to the other.
