      Now for a vague answer! Yes and no. Part of my job is helping people with physical and mental health problems and that is similar to what a psychiatrist will do. However, a psychiatrist is a medical doctor and can prescribe pills whereas I am a psychological doctor and don’t prescribe pills. Instead I use talking therapies to help people..
