Great question!
It is very hard to say….
I love dogs as pets, and I love mice because they help me with my research (even if they do bite me from time to time). And for some reason I’ve always found snakes fascinating – which is why I enjoyed working in South Africa because we treated lots of snake bites!

hugging them is so therapeutical (there are research about that!) 🙂

That is a tough question for me as I love all animals. If I had to choose one, and don’t tell Abigail or Benjamin (my cats), it would have to be a Manta Ray…I was lucky enough to see loads when I was learning to dive many years ago and they are the most beautiful things to watch as they glide through the water. They do amazing somersaults and back flips. That said, I am not sure they would make great pets…and my bath is not big enough!
